ETWININNG EXPERIENCE

By joining eTwinning, I became part of the "Community for Schools in Europe".
We collaborated with colleagues from the EU and were inspired by each other. I stay up to date with new content published weekly, featuring expert opinions, news, interviews, up-to-date publications and best practice examples. I read reports developed as a result of recent research, I studied materials developed within training courses and European projects, the European toolkit for schools, with materials to combat school dropout and a self-assessment tool, with the help of which I could develop school measures our
I organized and carried out collaborative activities with colleagues from countries participating in the eTwinning program and obtained numerous national and European Quality Certificates and many Awards
I exchanged good practices with colleagues from other countries. I share the same vision of inclusive schools, using information and communication technologies in a relevant way and leveraging 21st century skills with thousands of teachers and trainers who are part of the eTwinning community. The eTwinning platform offers an online environment where I communicated, created projects, exchanged information and learned together, at my own pace and according to my own interests. I networked online, at school, at events, eTwinning conferences and other events, wherever I could inspire other teachers to better educate their students.
I perfected myself together with others. I have benefited from free online seminars, short and long online courses, open online courses (MOOCs), self-study materials, conferences and other face-to-face professional training opportunities where I have met experts in many fields. As members of the eTwinning community, these events allowed me to establish professional connections, learn together with other teachers and feel part of the same community.
I have gained specific new skills and competencies, knowledge and information that I can share with other teachers in my daily practice. I ensure a quality education for all students, through appropriate curricula, teaching strategies based on inquiries, projects, values, technology, collaborative learning, the flipped classroom, by using resources and capitalizing on partnerships with the community.
I integrate formative assessment methods into teaching and learning to provide feedback to students and support progress towards learning objectives.
I promote a positive school and classroom climate, implement appropriate classroom management strategies and techniques to resolve conflicts and prevent bullying. I work in multidisciplinary professional teams and professional teaching and learning communities, I act to prevent the process of early school leaving by students,
I communicate effectively, cooperate and involve parents in the learning and development process of their children. I involve external partners, including local employers, I have knowledge and am aware of the cognitive, social and behavioral development of students
I recognize the role that the key people in the students' lives play in the learning process, the important role of parents, peers and other adults with whom the students relate most closely, so that the students take advantage of the benefits of their involvement.
I am aware of the diversity in the classrooms and strive to actively accept the differences of both staff and students. We have developed knowledge, skills and abilities related to understanding diversity in all its forms: intercultural education, multilingualism, continuous professional development through continuous training sessions, didactic mobility programs, workshops, conferences.
We promoted and celebrated. I participated in online campaigns in spring and fall, during which I exchanged ideas, planned projects, developed materials and learned together with other teachers. Every year, on May 9, we celebrated Europe Day and eTwinning Day with other partners, through activities that make us feel part of something unique. I familiarized myself with the secrets of Erasmus+ funding, with the three practical tools available to schools in order to draft Erasmus+ applications (course catalog, mobility opportunities register and strategic partnerships search engine).
We became protagonists. I am an eTwinning Ambassador with extensive experience in the program, available to provide support and training activities for beginning teachers, both on technical and educational topics. I collaborate, cooperate, promote and disseminate, I am responsible, I continuously learn, update, share. from my energy and enthusiasm, making eTwinning grow daily.
I manage honesty and integrity in relation to family, school, community. I always keep my word and promises, I am optimistic and altruistic. I am connected to the world through social media and constantly follow organizations related to education.
Grădiniţa cu Program Prelungit Ostroveni 1 (GPPO1)  became an eTwinning School. In the first stage, it was automatically selected by eTwinning, based on the activities carried out on the platform, and in the second stage, ONA evaluated the description of the request, the way in which the kindergarten designs, implements and plans activities circumscribed by the eTwinning School Mission and the evidence that accompanied the request.
GPPO1 is a model school, which illustrates the principles underlying eTwinning: GPPO1 is a follower of collective leadership; displays a strong commitment to collaboration, information sharing and teamwork; students in GPPO1 are vectors of change; promotes inclusion and is an innovative learning organization; it is a model and source of inspiration for other schools.
